A meeting has been held between Japanese Ambassador HE Mr. Kikuta Yutaka and Inspector General of Armed Police Raju Aryal at the Armed Police Force Nepal Headquarters, Halchowk, Swayambhu. The mandate and operations were informed.
Similarly, in the federal structure of Nepal, the Armed Police Force is the central security body of Nepal and has an important role in disaster management and the possibility of cooperation with Japan in various fields was also informed.
On the occasion, the Japanese Ambassador also spoke about the relations between Nepal and Japan, the readiness to assist Nepal and the mandate and operation of the Armed Police Force (APF) and the situation and prospects for cooperation between Japan and Nepal in disaster management. Shobhana Bajracharya and Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police Bidur Khadka were also present.
